Copy of California Dreaming- Spanish Colonial Hotel Chic

Who hasn't wanted to magic their bedroom into a sumptuous hotel room! Crisp pressed linen, an oversized headboard, luxurious, full length curtains...champagne on ice and a sea view.

The summer holidays are nearly over but in the spirit of extending that holiday feeling I've creating a delicious look to inspire you based on the visual feat that is the Casa Luna Bungal hotel in California.

CASA LUNA BUNGAL- LAGUNA BEACH, CALIFORNIA

Martyn Lawrence Bullard put a globally-inspired stamp on the revamp of Casa Laguna. The 23-room boutique hotel consists of several Spanish Colonial style buildings dating back to the 1900s in Laguna Beach California, overlooking the Pacific just a few blocks from the beach. Bullard brought in lots of blue to echo the sea while keeping the deep reds and terracotta tiles of the original buildings. The design is filled with Moroccan design details like Moorish tiles and ceramics as well as Bullard’s own line of fabrics inspired by the patterns of the region.

Recreate the stunning bed panel with Martyn Bullard's Shambala fabric which was inspired by his trip to Bali where he shopped the colourful stores of Ubud and found a timeworn fragment of batik cloth which he fused with a design rooted in homage to the Alhambra. Available through Derring Hall.

4. Metallic Bedside Lamp

Ok, so the gold's rosier but this lamp by Barker & Stonehouse is such a steal that it's sold out online and only available in store.
